The straight staircase generally has one straight flight of stairs or two separated by a landing partway up. The straight staircase enables the user to continue going in the same direction between two consecutive floors. It also has different shapes like U shape, L shape, winder shape, bifurcated shape, etc.

This type of stairway is economical and easy to design with all types of possible stringers. Except for a landing between two flights of stairs, all the treads are rectangular and of the same dimensions.

Steel Plate Stringer Staircase – stair stringers are often installed as steel plate stringer by two steel plates. At GRT, we construct our stairs with two single steel plate stringers that support the staircase from below.
