The straight staircase generally has one straight flight of stairs or two separated by a landing partway up. The straight staircase enables the user to continue going in the same direction between two consecutive floors. It also has different shapes like U shape, L shape, winder shape, bifurcated shape, etc.

This type of stairway is economical and easy to design with all types of possible stringers. Except for a landing between two flights of stairs, all the treads are rectangular and of the same dimensions.

Mono Stringer Staircase – stair stringers are often installed as single stringers (also called mono stringers) or in doubles. At GRT, we construct our stairs with mono stringers: a single, metal piece that supports the staircase from below.
